Our NAWGJ board has decided to switch over to the GymJAS Judge Information & Assigning system. Derby Classic, state meets and regional meets will use this system for the remainder of the season. If other scheduled meets use this I will let you know. Starting next season, however, all meets will be assigned this way. It has some features that we hope you'll like!
To get started you will need to go to gymjas.com and select Kentucky then on the next page click on the Judge Assigning System button.
At the logon screen, follow the "New user ....register here" link.
Provide your USA Gymnastics Professional Number and a login id, email and
password. After that you're ready to log in. Please note that passwords are
case sensitive. Make sure that your caps button is off unless you really want capital
letters in the password.
Once you're into the system, please take a moment to go to the 'Update
your info' page and verify your information, including providing your
expiration date information. This information will automatically be pulled
into your contract so if you do not update it the
information in your contract will be incorrect. (Just skip the AAU
expiration dates where AAU does not apply.) After updating your
information, take a look around!
You will see a map of all our judges, be able to update your
availability, and see other pages that will hold detailed meet
information and the season schedule.
When you provide your availability, make sure to check the checkbox
(it should then turn green) for each day on the calendar that you are
available. If you are available for both Saturday and Sunday, you need
to check both. After you have filled in your availability you MUST
CLICK THE SUBMIT BUTTON for the information to be saved. There is a SUBMIT button at the top and bottom of the page.
There is the ability to indicate your meet preferences, though be
aware that there is no guarantee that you will be assigned to a
particular meet due to the needs of balancing the right levels of judges
for the competing gymnasts, requested judges and other factors.
But where possible, it will be considered as another piece of input.
The map of judges is there to provide with helpful information to
form carpools where those apply. You may have to zoom in to see all the flags
when judges live close to each other. (If you are a new judge, there may be a day
or two lag before your "red flag" shows up. ) All judges are expected to follow
the R&P guidelines about carpools.
When it's time for you to submit a contract for a meet, click the
Contracts button on your Welcome page, select the meet, and push the
submit button at the top of the page and a contract will be
automatically generated and emailed for you. Your copy of the contract
will show up in your email. If you don't initially see it, look in the
spam box for something from firstname.lastname@example.org. It is recommended that you just
select one meet at a time for your contract. A contract will automatically be sent to the meet director and to me. A copy will also be sent to an email address I set up just for these contracts for storage in case needed for future reference.
If you have any questions, just let me know. Let me know when you have updated your information.
